Shared Memory Provider, error: 0 - No process is on the other end of the pipe

Error - provider: Shared Memory Provider, error: 0 - No process is on the other end of the pipe

"A mountain in labour and a mouse be result" .Sometimes it happens in finding Root Couse. I faced the same when I was new in organization. Web application was throwing error something like below …

And at the same time when I was trying to connect instance was facing trouble with error like below…

Then I decided to check configuration manager, it was fine at all the required sub-services was running. TCP/IP was configured and running. But the error was still coming since 2 days..

It was also surprising because after re-start it was vanished for the day. I faced with the same error till a week.

Finally I decided to check error log on that server and configuration setup. I was new that’s why there was no admin access to me. So I asked to my senior to give me details of server of below query…

select * from sys.configurations

Result was look like below:-
configuration_id
name
value
minimum
maximum
101
recovery interval (min)
0
0
32767
102
allow updates
0
0
1
103
user connections
5
0
32767

xp_readerrorlog 0,1

Result was look like below

Could not connect because the maximum number of '5' user connections has already been reached. The system administrator can use sp_configure to increase the maximum value. The connection has been closed. [CLIENT: <local machine>]

After getting this error I decide to remove the user connection limit with zero “0” . This time result was ok for the day. Finally Issue resolve. Then I monitored a week no any issue more……

The query which i was used to resolve was :-

sp_configure 'showadvanced options', 1
go
reconfigure
go
sp_configure 'user connections', 0
go
reconfigure
go

How to encrypt and decrypt Table data in postgres

For encrypting and decrypting , we must use the bytea data type on the column which we implement. Bcoz bytea will use the pgcrypto method by default. However, you will need to create the pgcrypto extension to enable these functions as they are not pre-defined in PostgreSQL/PPAS. Example CREATE EXTENSION pgcrypto; CREATE TABLE userinfo (username varchar(20), password bytea); >>    Inserting the data in an encrypted format INSERT INTO userinfo VALUES(' suman ',encrypt('111222','password','aes')); select * from userinfo ; >>    Retrieving the data as decrypted format SELECT decrypt(password,decode('password','escape'::text),'aes'::text) FROM userinfo; Thanks for reading Plz dont forget to like Facebook Page.. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sql-DBAcoin/523110684456757
