5 Important Shortcut and Tips to work on MySQL Workbench

Shortcut is always 2^nd important things to learn any software if we started working and using in daily DBA or Development activity. Today I am sharing 3 Shortcuts of MySQL Workbench which I use always during work and last 2 query to find tables with primary and Procedures list.

1.    Execute Query from Query Editor

             Ctrl + Enter

2.    Open New Tab in Query Editor

              Ctrl + T

3.    Start Connection List

             Ctrl + Y

4.    All Primary Keys in a Database:

Select * from      information_schema.tables t      inner join information schema .columns c 

on t.table_schema=c.table_schema and t.table_name=c.table_name Where t.table_schema='vettingtrail' group by t.table_schema,t.table_name   having  sum(if(column_key in ('PRI','UNI'), 1,0)) = 1;

5.    All Procedures/Routines in a database:

Select * from mysql.proc where db='vettingtrail';

or

SELECT * FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.ROUTINES where       ROUTINE_SCHEMA='vettingtrail';
