MS Excel is one of most popular package for every kind of professional in 21st century. I am using this application since 2005 on different ways. I have been worked on excel with Simple tool, Advance tool, macros and VBA applications features.Every Data and Database Professional should know about use of Excel and their features.

Microsoft doing something new and big changes in excel every year. In 2013 there are great  and reach set of features introduced, most popular are below:-
1.) Team Menu co-related with TFS (Team Foundation Server)
2.) Data-> From Other Source –> From Windows Azure Market Place.
3.) Insert Menu
a. Bing Map
b. People Graph
c. Screen Short
d. Recommended Pivot Table and Recommended Chart
e. Store
All above are new and good features but I like Bing Map Integration with Excel too much.. Microsoft given end user to use the Bing Map web service to locate their data on Map. This is very easy to use but we require Internet connected.
Just start excel and prepare your data which have to show on map like below…

State
PASS Chapter
Bangalore
1
Delhi
0
Chandigarh
1
Ahmedabad
2
Mumbai
1
Kolkata
0
Hyderabad
1
Chennai
0
Pune
1
Patna
0

Now select the data and click on Insert-Bing MAP

Now the Web service will connect to MAP in few second and will show look like this. Then we have cross the sample data tab and click on Search button.

After that on the basis of data chart will show quickly as below. PASS Chapters Location in India.

Now we can do Zoom in/ out Filter and other activities here.. It was really nice feature added in excel by Microsoft. I remember it was difficult task before till 2010.

Configure Impersonation Authentication in IIS8 for MVC Application

Impersonation is when ASP.NET executes code in the context of an authenticated and authorized client. By default, ASP.NET does not use impersonation and instead executes all code using the same user account as the ASP.NET process, which is typically the ASPNET account. There are 5 below steps by which we can establish Impersonation configuration in our secured application environment. 1.)    Creation of Application/Proxy user where Application is hosted. 2.)    Give appropriate access to the user. 3.)    Create Database Login user on database. 4.)    Authenticate User and provide credential on IIS. 5.)    Then Configure web.config on Application.
